Product customization is an important aspect in DKC manufacturing activities. The required accuracy is entirely satisfied by a special division. This division is dedicated to this activity and employs drafters and CNC programmers with decennial experience in the field.
DKC performs perforations of whatever type required, both on standard and customized products and is able to make any kind of painting according to international standards.
CQE Modular Cabinets
The structure of CQE cabinets is composed of bars of 15/10 thick galvanized steel with a patented closed profile forming a support frame.
• Ideal as HMI enclosures for industrial plants;
• Appropriate for all applications in electronics;
• Convenient for LV distribution.
Doors are manufactured of 20/10 thick steel. Inside the door a
frame perforated with 25 mm pitch is mounted that is easily removable
in order to allow further operations, if necessary.
CQE series of modular cabinets includes five height options:
1400, 1600, 1800, 2000 and 2200, each available in various dimensions,
on the whole counting more than 100 versions.
CQEC PC Enclosures
CQEC PC enclosures deriving directly from CQE series cabinets have been conceived to meet the necessity to use computers inindustrial environments though keeping a high protection degree (IP55 as per EN 60529/IEC EN 62208).
A full compatibility with CQE series cabinets and their components,such as doors, side panels, internal trays etc., permit a considerable reduction of stock cost.
CQEC PC enclosures may becombined with our standard CQE cabinets.CQEC PC enclosures line is constituted by 3 height options (1600,1800 and 2000) with the only width (600) and two depth options(600 and 800), available with a glazed upper door or blank steeldoor.
The lower part of the enclosure is prepared to accommodate a case and other peripheral devices, such as modems, printers, switches.
Furthermore the enclosure may be complete with:
• a pair of RACK 19” uprights – 16 HE for height 1600 and 18 HE for height 1800 – 2000;
• support fixed and sliding trays for instruments;
• a mounting panel:
• H 600 mm (effective H 570 for height 1600) RZPCE6600
• H 800 mm (effective H 770 for height 1800 - 2000)
DAE Mounted Compact Cabinets
The structure of DAE cabinet is constituted by a base element
(DTB), a roof element (DTB) and a pair of side panels (DL). The
cabinet elements may be supplied in a flat pack or pre-assembled,
complete with mounting accessories (hinges, fastening elements
etc.).
The easiness and quickness of assembly, which consists in fixing M8 side and central pins only, render this cabinet in a class by itself, covered by a European patent.
DAE accessories range is interchangeable with those of the better
known CAE and CQE series of DKC cabinets.
The structure is painted with epoxy polyester thermosetting powders of RAL 7035 grey colour (other colours upon request).
EMC
CQEMC cabinets deriving directly from CQE series permit a high EMC protection by virtue of the implemented design solutions: internal panel, door frame and bottom manufactured of Sendzimir galvanized carbon steel improve considerably the shielding effect of the casing. The measures taken during the cabling phase, such as the use of large size earthing cables and special conductive seals, assure an electrical contact between the components in addition to IP protection degree.
A high EMC shielding is obtained using Sendzimir galvanized carbon steel to manufacture the entire cabinet. Only those parts are painted, where the contact is not required. Special conductive seals of expanded neoprene assure the electrical contact between components in addition to IP protection degree.
The product range includes CE and CDE boxes in EMC versions for protection against electromagnetic interferences.
As per the Directive for Electromagnetic Compatibility only active devices and systems are subject to CE marking. Empty enclosures, being passive elements, are not subject to this regulation.
DAE Mounted Compact Cabinets
The structure of DAE cabinet is constituted by a base element (DTB), a roof element (DTB) and a pair of side panels (DL). The cabinet elements may be supplied in a flat pack or pre-assembled, complete with mounting accessories (hinges, fastening elements etc.).

CAE Welded Compact Cabinet
The structure of CAE cabinets is manufactured of 15/10 thick
sheet steel with a continuous welding on the junctions. The edges
folded many times impede the ingress of water, in case of its
accidental accumulation thereon, and concur in the protection degree
determination, since no cutting edges come in contact with
the seals.
Doors are manufactured of 20/10 thick steel. Inside the door
a frame perforated with 25 mm pitch is mounted that is easily
removable in order to allow further operations, if necessary. In
addition to reinforcing the door, this frame assures an easy anchoring
for any type of application. The door may easily substitute
a removable rear panel.
All the models have an internal panel (mounting panel)
CAE compact cabinets have been conceived to meet the needs of those customers, who requires stand-alone cabinets with high level characteristics.
Having a great versatility and being suitable for whatever application,
these cabinets are:
• Ideal as HMI enclosures for industrial plants;
• Appropriate for electronics applications;
• Convenient for LV distribution.
CAE series of compact cabinets includes six height options: 1000,
1200, 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2000, each available in various depths.
The standard painting is performed with epoxy-polyester powders
of textured RAL 7035 colour.
It is possible to obtain IP65 protection degree ordering a solid bottom (code RZFUC).
Accessories for cabinets
The accessories range for CQE, DAE and CAE cabinets represents
an ideal solution as regards versatility and stock costs saving.
A lot of accessories are universal and suitable, therefore, for all
DKC cabinet lines. Some other accessories, where indicated, are specific only for some of the product lines.
In order to choose an appropriate accessory it is necessary to know the cabinet dimensions and refer to the relative tables.
All mounting accessories are included to the supply.

Mounting panels
Front entry, side entry; partial or full.
Plinth
Modular, reinforced solid or blind, earthquake resistant. Numerous
adjustment accessories.
Cable entry
Solid bottom, rails and cable gland plates allowing cable entry
from the cabinet bottom, assuring a high IP protection degree.
Cabinet baying accessories
Compensation panel for mounting panels, mechanical baying kit
and baying reinforcement kit for heavy duty. Back-to-back baying
special kit.
Lifting accessories
Lifting eye bolts, brackets, press-bended rails or hot laminated
rails for particularly heavy bayed cabinets lifting.
Doors and locking elements
Single or double door, blank or glazed, with transparent or screen-
printed safety glass characterised by an innovative and refined
design. The completion accessories are numerous.
Cable management
Modular top compartments for cable management, the only supplied
by the metre, cable compartments with side access or cable
chambers and relative completion accessories.
Trays
Working tray (to be applied to the doors), fixed or sliding trays
applicable directly to the cabinet frame.
Rails
Sendzimir galvanized rails, mountable to the support profile of a
cabinet, allow the internal equipment arrangement with 25 mm
adjustable pitch and permit to create an internal structure customized
in conformity to the customer’s requirements. Transformer
support rails and cable tie-down rails are also available.
19” racks and profiles
19” racks, full or partial, side or central with respect to the cabinet;
130° opening or 180° opening as an option.
The range is completed by fixed 19” profiles, C-shaped or L-shaped
(depending on the application type) and the relative 19” accessories.
